Hope Never Quits

Good morning, guys!  I'm happy to be here for another Sunday with another stampy card!  This one features a stamp by one of my favorite of the QKD lines.

The stamp is called "Holding Onto Hope," and it's by Kristie Silva.  I colored the stamp with Prismacolor pencils and layered it with some pretty pink American Crafts papers.

Everything's got some soft Tattered Rose Distress Ink on the edges. The sentiment is hand-written with a glittery pink pen from Zig.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Please be sure to check out this and all of the other great stamps available in the Queen Kat Designs store.

See you next week!

My Sunshine

Good morning, y'all!  I have one more card to share this month that features one of Gerben den Heeten's smiley stamps.  I think this one just might be my favorite!

I colored the stamp with Prismacolor pencils and layered lots of bright American Crafts papers behind it.

The sentiment is a sticker from an Echo Park paper pack. The colors in the sticker are less pastel and bright than the background, but the I think the sentiment makes up for it.

Thanks so much for visiting!  Please be sure to head over to the Queen Kat Designs store and check out this great line of stamps.

See you next Sunday!

You Are Wonderful Wall Hanging

Welcome back!  Jamie here with you today.  I've decided to try something a bit different, and I made a wall hanging using a page from the Branded Forever Chipboard Book, the Clockwork Butterfly stamp, and the Mysterious Flowers stamp set.

I started by using several different mists and stencils to create the background.  My goal was lots and lots of fun color, and I was very pleased with the outcome.  Then I stamped the Clockwork Butterfly stamp randomly across the background.

Next, I stamped the Mysterious Flowers onto a book page and then colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. The flowers were cut out and adhered to the chipboard page, along with a larger flower and a few die-cuts.

And did I mention the bling?  A few mists of Perfect Pearls spray and the entire piece is covered in shimmer!  Every project must have glitter and shine. :)

This little gift tag is 2.75x2.75. He is pop dotted up so he stands out a little more. He is from the Queen Kat Design store. You can go straight to him with the link above.
May you have a blessed day.

Hello Sweet Friend

Here's a great Queen Kat stamp from artist Kristie Silva (Creepie Studios) called Midnight Dreary.  Isn't she adorable?  I love this artist's images.  I added a text from Cosmo Cricket that says "Hello sweet Friend" as that's what I can imagine her saying to that little doll.  I used some great Halloween skull theme ribbon to match the skulls in her hair and on her shirt.  Too fun!
Be sure and check out all the Creepie Cuties, the whole stamp line is so wonderful!!

Cheers, Holley

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Bazzill, Hobby Lobby, Neenah);  Rubber Stamp(Queen Kat);  Ribbon (Michaels, JoAnns);  Bling (Pearl-Queen &Co);  Die Cuts (Spellbinders Nestabilities);  Saying (Cosmo Cricket);  Color (Copic Markers);  Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All, Ribbon Glue, Glue dots);

My Sweetheart

Good Friday morning everyone!  I was thinking ahead to Valentine's day and came up with the cutest card that uses the Dal stamp by stamp designer Che Gilson.

I really love how this one turned out!  The image and colors are more on the masculine side, making it the perfect card for your sweetheart. :)

The image itself was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I just simply layered the patterned paper, added the stamped image on top, added a few die-cut stickers, added a bit of glitter to a chipboard heart, and lastly added a piece of punchinella.  Simple as can be.
